Fun Times With Miss Oklahoma USA 2017
Because pageant photography is a staple of my business, I decided it was time to (offer to) work with Miss Oklahoma USA. After meeting Miss Oklahoma USA 2017, Alex Smith, at Tres Jolie, we found one date that worked for our schedule. With some styling assistance from Brady Balenti and hair and makeup services from Michael Harris, I had an awesome experience creating some fun images of Alex at my Oklahoma City studio, OK Visual Studio. Here are a few highlights from our session.
After The Fashion Show OCF Testing
Back in September 2015, I wanted to take my photographic technique to a higher level, and I began using a controller for off-camera flash. I wanted to light my subjects with a single speedlight while maintaining the lights in the cityscape of downtown Tulsa. During this test session, I accomplished my goal, and I have been utilizing off-camera-flash much more since then.
Headshot Development
Since becoming a member of OK Visual Studio in September 2016, I have completely revamped my headshot technique. Although I believe that my headshots were already improved from years prior, I wanted to be even better. Now I feel comfortable creating versatile, dynamic headshots for every client in any environment. I look forward to showcasing more of my work here and my other media platforms.
