Capturing Movement

January 21, 2016  •  1 Comment

Although I am highly experienced at capturing movements during live performances, I want to improve my dance photography skills, especially for talent performances in my pageant coverage during Miss Oklahoma preliminary events. For this task, I requested the assistance of a highly talented and experienced dancer who could perform specific techniques that would photograph well. After communicating my ideas to her, I arranged the lighting to create dynamic images that highlight her lines and freeze her movement. We created awesome images during a short period, and the following images are favorites from the session along with a pullback of the lighting setup I utilized.

The article in the moved photo is completely dull. This is notwithstanding called a course of action influence. It happens when taking a moved photo of a scene that has an inconceivably endless light source truly behind the article. One stated occurrence of that is snapping an image of a person during nightfall or day break.
